Shinko South Africa is the importer of the Shinko tyres in South Africa. The Shinko Group was established in 1946 as a manufacturer of bicycle tyres and tubes in Osaka, Japan that today has become a burgeoning manufacture of rubber products.
With manufacturing based in South Korea and design based in Japan, the company has seamlessly combined Japanese engineering and design principles with South Korean production and quality control standards. Shinko products were subjected to intensive testing and
evaluation which let to it receiving the KS (Korean Standard), the JIS (Japan Industrial Standard) and E-Mark, ISO 9001. Today Shinko Tyres produces approximately 200,000 motorcycle tyres per month.
Shinko manufacture tyres for all kinds of bikes. From the Apex tyre which is designed for serious sportbike riding to the 009 series, specifi cally developed to meet the demand for long life high performance radial tyres.
